Age Limit for Telangana Police Constable:

i) For the Post Code Nos. 21 to 26:

1. Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2 nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.
2. For Home Guards, a Person who, as on the date of Notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of 2 (two) years and who is still continuing his / her service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii) For the Post Code Nos. 27 & 28:

Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

For the Post Code Nos. 21, 22 & 28 (For Women Candidates):

In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried, a) SC & ST Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

In all other cases (other than SC & ST), the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13- 04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

For the Post Code Nos. 34 and 35:

1. Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above

Educational Qualification for Telangana Police Constable 

Post Code 21 to 28:

Must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2022.

Provided that, Intermediate Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks or any equivalent pass Certificate which proves the qualification shall be made available by the Candidate at the time of certificate verification to prove his / her qualification on or before 1st July 2022. If any Candidate fails to produce the required pass certificate as above on the designated day, then it shall be deemed that he / she does not possess required qualification and such candidature shall not be taken forward. Any certificates produced after the last date of Certificate Verification shall not be taken into consideration.

For Post Code No. 34:

Must have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Electronic, Mechanic OR Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance OR Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR Mechanic Consumer Electronics OR Electrician OR Vocational Intermediate in

1. EET (Electronic Engineering Technician)
2. ET (Electrical Technician) (old name Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical applications (E.W & SEA) after SSC) as on 1st July 2022

For Post Code No. 35:

Must have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Wiremen OR Mechanic Motor vehicle OR Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter, as on 1st July 2022.

For Post Code No. 36:

• Academic qualification:- Must have passed Intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as its equivalent by the State Board of Intermediate Education as on 1st July 2022. (OR) SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Auto Electrician OR Mechanic Motor vehicle OR Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter as on 1st July 2022.
• Technical Qualification: Must have possessed either Light Motor Vehicle (Transport with Badge Number) or HMV License, or both put together,

Application Fee for Telangana Police Constable 

The applicants belonging to OCs/BCs shall pay a fee of Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight hundred only) and those belonging to SCs/STs shall pay a fee of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four hundred only) towards Application Processing and Examinations.
