- Sub-Inspectors of Police (Taluk) – 399 Posts (279 General/Men & 120 Women/Transgenders)
- Sub-Inspector of Police (AR) – 45 Posts (32 General/Men & 13 Women/Transgenders)
Age Limit for TNUSRB Sub Inspector Vacancy 2022
The applicants should have attained the age of 20 years and should not be aged above 30 years as on 01.07.2022 (should have been born on or after 01.07.1992 and on or before 01.07.2002). The upper age limit relaxation is given to certain categories is as follows:

Qualification for TNUSRB Sub Inspector Vacancy 2022
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognised by UGC / Government on the date of Notification.
- The Bachelor’s Degree should have been obtained in the following pattern :-After completion of SSLC and Higher Secondary course in the order of 10+2+3 pattern or
- After completion of SSLC and Diploma in the order of 10+3+2 / 10+3+3 pattern or
- From an Open University / Distance Education/ College after completion of SSLC and I.T.I in the order of 10+2+3 pattern.
- However, candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degree through Open Universities without going through above mentioned pattern will not be eligible.
Application Fee for TNUSRB Sub Inspector Vacancy 2022
Applicant will have to pay examination fee of Rs.500/-. Departmental candidates appearing for both Open Quota and Departmental Quota examinations will have to pay Rs.1000/- as examination fee.
