JEE Mains 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule for JEE Mains 2022 and invited online registration for the exam to be conducted in the first sessions of 2022. The JEE Mains exam will be conducted in two sessions in 2022. The first session exam date is 16-21 April 2022, and the second session exam date is 24-29 April 2022. The registration for the JEE Mains 2022 is started on March 1, 2022. The candidates can register online for JEE Mains 2022 First Session from the website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in

About JEE Mains Exam 2022

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments.

JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. From the year 2021, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission to the B.Tech./ M.Tech. (Integrated)/ B.Arch. Courses in its affiliated colleges across the State.

Age Limit for JEE Mains Exam 2022

For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2022, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2022 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) in which they are desirous of taking admission.

Qualification for JEE Mains Exam 2022

For B.E/ B.Tech: Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects

For B.Arch: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

For B.Planning: 12th Pass with Mathematics
